Origins of the Author

First, giving thanks to God for all things. For 48 years, He has delivered me from countless close calls, guided me and even blessed me. What are those blessings?

My favorite earthly blessing is my sweet Shanna who has endured so many adventures, encouraged me and offered that special insight that only women have.

He helped me to survive a career with the Highway Patrol. He allowed me to serve my country in the Army Reserves, including an overseas deployment. He has now given me this opportunity which I am thoroughly enjoying. I get to share my stories with the world, meet wonderful people and (bonus) no one is trying to kill me.
